Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize containerized systems in air‑gapped environments, building secure enterprise platforms with robust CI/CD pipelines and IaC. You will mentor military personnel and government civilians while advancing AI adoption within classified constraints.

You will work at the intersection of Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, enterprise automation, and modern platform engineering to deliver secure, reliable delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with IT, systems, or software engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and production CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years of administering Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform).
• Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in regulated environments such as DoD/IC with cybersecurity processes and air-gapped constraints.
• Experience with basic AI prototyping (LLM API, RAG) and AI-assisted tooling.
• TS/SCI clearance; DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized systems in air-gapped environments.
• Develop and optimize production CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Embed security, observability, and reliability across the delivery stack.
• Mentor DoD/government personnel and lead technical exchanges and labs.
• Prototype and evaluate AI-enabled capabilities within classified constraints.
