Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure cloud architecture, CI/CD, and automation across AWS/GCP. You will mentor engineers and align security strategy with HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST requirements as we scale nationwide.

Engage cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance to implement policy-as-code and automated governance, while advancing secure-by-design practices and zero-trust initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software, infra, or security engineering with DevSecOps focus.
• Deep cloud expertise in AWS and/or GCP.
• Designing, building, and securing containerized/Kubernetes environments.
• IaC tooling experience with Terraform and CloudFormation; secure IaC pipelines.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
• Scripting in Python, Go, or Ruby; strong automation mindset.
• Security certifications (CISSP/CISM/CCSP or cloud certs).
• Experience with observability and security telemetry in production.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the DevSecOps vision across infra, apps, and CI/CD.
• Architect secure cloud-native systems across AWS/GCP.
• Establish security patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures.
• Design, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Implement policy-as-code and automated governance controls.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Product, IT, and Compliance.
