Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer to accelerate secure automation, deployment pipelines, and IaC for a federal modernization program in Huntsville, AL. This full-time onsite role supports reliable, secure delivery across AWS and on‑premises environments.

As a senior engineer, you will integrate modern DevSecOps practices across the software lifecycle, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence for mission-critical applications and services.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in DevSecOps, CI/CD, or secure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
• Strong understanding of AWS and secure software practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with security scans.
• Implement secure DevOps practices and artifact control.
• Maintain version control standards and build automation across repos.
• Develop IaC via Terraform, CloudFormation, and related tools.
• Integrate logging, monitoring, and alerting across cloud/hybrid environments.
• Embed security gates and compliance validations into CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support release readiness.
