Job summary

Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for the SEIC II contract to support Air Force Mission Planning with JPO and Navy partners. You will join a dynamic DevSecOps team delivering next-generation Mission Planning solutions across diverse environments.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, Kubernetes deployments, and automated testing. Requires 8+ years in software, U.S. citizenship, Secret clearance, and ability to obtain Security+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years software engineering experience in any OO language.
• U.S. Citizenship required, no dual citizenship.
• Must obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
• Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ within 30 days of employment.
• Experience with web-based systems, APIs, and distributed/microservice architectures.
• 3+ years in a DevSecOps environment and familiarity with best practices.
• Experience with version control workflows (Git/Bitbucket) and CI/CD tooling.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
• Bash/Shell scripting.
• Experience with Kubernetes variants (AKS/EKS/GKE/OpenShift) and Kubernetes apps (Kubectl, Helm, Rancher).
• Experience with Docker containers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and debug pipeline software for builds, deployments, quality gates, and automated tests.
• Provide technical expertise for sub-projects related to deployment, validation, and automated testing.
• Develop pipeline automation with quality gates and API integrations with DevOps, CI/CD, security, and test tooling.
• Define, implement, and improve DevOps processes and toolchain integrations for reliable CI/CD across environments.
• Design Helm charts and manage Kubernetes deployments, including templates and validation.
• Integrate, deploy, and troubleshoot microservices across Kubernetes platforms.
