Job summary

Octave is seeking a Principal DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure and to manage the release process across multiple environments. You will collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to embed security into DevOps pipelines using IaC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in DevSecOps or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with release management and deployment automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Understanding of security best practices and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the release process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure using IaC.
• Collaborate with development and operations to embed security into pipelines.
• Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
