Job summary

4M Research, Inc. is seeking multiple Principal/Senior DevSecOps Software Engineers to support Agile teams in Huntsville, AL. You’ll help enable and sustain the Continuous Delivery Pipeline for mission-critical software, collaborating with software, systems, DevOps, networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.

You will apply DevOps best practices, own roadblocks, and drive issues to closure while balancing hands-on work with coordination across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, Master's degree in STEM field and 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD in STEM field and 0 years
• Strong experience with CI/CD concepts and implementation
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible playbooks; Ansible Automation Platform
• Proficiency in Linux-based development and runtime environments
• Experience with Git / GitLab for source control
• Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Support the Agile development environment and Continuous Delivery Pipeline for multiple software baselines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, integrate, and improve end-to-end delivery workflows
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders about issues, options, and impacts
• Apply DevOps concepts to support software delivery pipelines
• Take ownership to identify roadblocks and drive issues to closure
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with hands-on tasks and coordination duties
