Job summary

Thazen LLC is seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to design, deploy, and operate IL5/IL6 environments across AWS GovCloud (US)/AWS Secret and Azure Government/Azure Secret. You will build secure, automated cloud platforms for DoD and U.S. Government missions within RMF/ATO processes.

Responsibilities include provisioning IL5/IL6 workloads, implementing IaC, and integrating DevSecOps pipelines with monitoring and policy-as-code. Strong focus on security, compliance, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years with AWS and/or Azure GovCloud/Secret regions.
• Experience delivering IL5/IL6 workloads in DoD/NIST/FedRAMP contexts.
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform and at least one native framework).

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain IL5/IL6 workloads in GovCloud / Secret regions.
• Architect secure, scalable cloud solutions aligned to DoD SRG and NIST 800-53.
• Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD with DevSecOps practices.
• Operate and harden container platforms (EKS/ECS, AKS) and manage security tooling.
