Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – DevSecOps & Secure Engineering to join our Irving, TX team. You will design, build, and secure enterprise-grade software using Go, Java, JavaScript, and Python, with a strong emphasis on cloud-native architectures and SDL practices.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, integrate automated security testing, and collaborate across engineering, cloud, platform, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on programming experience with Go and Java.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using JavaScript and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and design patterns.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with SDL practices and threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade software using Go, Java, JavaScript, and/or Python.
• Build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications.
• Design distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and reusable components.
• Lead code reviews and enforce engineering standards.
• Integrate open-source technologies into enterprise solutions.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines with security validation.
• Develop automation for CI, automated testing, and deployments.
• Promote Infrastructure-as-Code across environments.
• Champion SDL practices and secure development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application and deployment issues and provide fixes.
