Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for DevSecOps and Secure Engineering in Irving, TX. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software using Go, Java, JavaScript, and/or Python, while building secure, scalable cloud-native applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in enterprise software engineering.
• Strong hands-on programming with Go and Java.
• Experience developing enterprise applications with JavaScript and/or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and design patterns.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Experience integrating automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices and secure coding principles.
• Experience conducting threat modeling and security-design reviews.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code practices and automated provisioning.
• Experience participating in code reviews and influencing system design decisions.
• Experience evaluating and integrating open-source technologies into enterprise apps.
