Job summary

mbsolutionsinc is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on automation, testing, and deployment across the full CI/CD lifecycle.

The role emphasizes cloud automation on Azure, containerization, and building scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, with a strong emphasis on application security.

A US citizen with an active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen with active Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform.
• Proficient in CI/CD using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with application security tools (SAST/DAST) and vulnerability scanning.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, DoD IL5).
• Understanding of network security fundamentals and encryption.
• Ability to write/review code (Java, Python).

Responsibilities

• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps practices.
• Develop CI/CD processes, tools, and deployment strategies.
• Build and deploy containers and containerization technologies.
• Support Agile software development across design, architecture, and maintenance.
• Create, develop, and implement infrastructure and security solutions.
• Lead Agile collaboration with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
• Maintain CI/CD building blocks and shared libraries.
