Job summary

NorthHill Technology Resources is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in Sterling, VA to support a Federal program. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. You will decompose Jira tasks, develop interfaces with Python/PowerShell/Groovy, and manage DevOps toolchains in containerized environments.

Strong security process familiarity and SharePoint/Tableau experience are highly valued. Direct-hire position located on site in Sterling, VA, with opportunities to influence system

Qualifications

• Experience decomposing tasks for Jira stories and managing DevSecOps tasks.
• Hands-on with Python, PowerShell, and Groovy for integrations.
• Familiarity with basic DevOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience with containerized environments (Rancher, Kubernetes).
• Ability to create robust test plans and verify security requirements.
• Knowledge of customer system security and process requirements.
• SharePoint administration and Tableau-related systems knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Decompose work into Jira stories and track progress for a federal program.

• Create robust test plans and ensure system security requirements compliance.

NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for an Senior DevSecOps Engineer with experience in SharePoint and Tableau to support a Federal Program in Sterling, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. An active TS/SCI Clearance and CI Polygraph is required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories
• Developing integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
• Experience and comfortability with Basic DevOps Tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, Active Directory, IdAM, and LDAP)
• Familiarity with Containerized Development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)
• Expertise with creating robust test plans
• Ability to quickly get familiar with customer system security requirements and processes
• Preparation and maintenance of system components
• Experience with API Gateways, catalogs

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools
• Experience with Cloud solution optimization
• Experience configuring and instrumenting Virtualization tools (Grafana, Splunk)
