Job summary

Directio is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join a project for our client, an international company operating across multiple markets. You will join a small platform team responsible for Azure, Kubernetes, deployments, Microsoft 365, and on-call support.

This hands-on role blends platform engineering with security, supporting migration from a monolithic architecture to services, building infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability while strengthening security practices and ISO 27001

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes/AKS in production environments.
• Hands-on experience in security engineering and ownership of security-related processes.
• Experience with ISO 27001 or security frameworks and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of security tooling: DAST, SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, container scanning, cloud posture management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to customers, security teams, and auditors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently in a small, senior team environment.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain the platform with Azure, AKS, deployments, upgrades, incident response, and on-call support.
• Build and operate infrastructure for migration from monolith to services, including CI/CD pipelines, IaC, monitoring, and alerting.
• Manage external attack surface, inventory internet-facing assets, monitor exposures, and address vulnerabilities.
• Integrate security into delivery pipelines and scanning of code, dependencies, secrets, containers, and IaC.
• Establish and maintain security baselines for Azure and Microsoft 365, including IAM and MFA.
• Manage vulnerability management end-to-end, including evidence collection.
• Support ISO 27001 certification through technical controls and collaboration with the compliance lead.
• Provide input for security questionnaires and audits with customers and auditors.
• Coordinate penetration testing activities with an external partner.
• Automate operational and security processes to improve reliability and security.
