Job summary

TCG, a government IT solutions provider, seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, and implement secure CI/CD pipelines in AWS. This is a full-time, onsite role in Washington, DC requiring travel five days weekly.

U.S. citizenship and a government background investigation are required. The candidate will work with Kubernetes, Docker, SAST/DAST tools, and monitoring solutions to ensure container and cloud security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevSecOps engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing and maintaining AWS ecosystems.
• Kubernetes and Docker proficiency.
• GitLab CI/CD and IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation.
• SAST/DAST tooling and vulnerability management experience.
• Agile or iterative development environment.
• Dockerfile authoring for Java or Angular apps.
• Experience in AWS/GitLab architecture outside DoD space.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in AWS with GitLab.
• Manage containerized apps using Kubernetes and Docker in AWS.
• Configure AWS environments with baselines and security policies.
• Implement security best practices across the DevSecOps lifecycle.
• Integrate SAST/DAST tools into CI/CD (Sonarqube, Invicti).
• Ensure container security in Kubernetes/AWS.
• Remediate vulnerabilities reported by Tenable with dev teams.
• Automate deployment/configuration with Ansible.
• Implement monitoring/logging with Splunk/ELK for uptime and health.
• Support AWS cloud infrastructure updates, patching and maintenance.
• Review cloud architecture for scalable improvements.
