Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Software Engineer–DevSecOps (Senior or Lead) for the E7A Software Development Environments team in Tukwila, Washington. You will build and maintain secure development environments enabling CI and secure SDLC for the US Air Force E-7A Rapid Prototype Program.

Responsibilities include leading tooling design, expanding DevSecOps across multiple environments, and providing end-user support. Applicants should have active clearance and strong Kubernetes/AWS skills, with Java/C++

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance within 24 months counts as active.
4+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
4+ years of Kubernetes, EKS or RKE2 deployments experience.
4+ years of AWS cloud development and containerization experience.
2+ years of Python experience.
Experience with Java and C++.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing and verification of E-7A software engineering tools.
Develop and enhance DevSecOps operations across environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement software development solutions.
Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for program-defined pipelines and environments.
Monitor and maintain software development environments and tools.
Participate in peer reviews and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
Use analytical problem-solving to resolve issues and improve processes and tools.
