Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain production-grade data and platform pipelines within our AWS-based data lakehouse ecosystem. You will collaborate with data engineers, implement automation, and ensure security, reliability, and scalability across the platform lifecycle.

The role is remote within a distributed agile environment, requiring strong AWS, IaC, and CI/CD expertise to drive platform improvements and governance across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• 3+ years in production pipelines and infrastructure.
• Strong Python skills and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on with AWS services (Step Functions, Lambda, S3, Glue, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience building reusable, testable infrastructure-as-code constructs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines for packaging, validation, and deployment across AWS environments.
• Implement automation for packaging, testing, deployment, and monitoring using CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with data engineers to operationalize workloads within the data lakehouse ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain integrations between data ingestion, storage, and downstream repositories.
• Apply IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation) to build reusable constructs that are versioned and tested.
