Job summary

Vets Hired is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, secure, and operate cloud-native infrastructure and deployment platforms for modern applications and machine learning workloads. You will design AWS infrastructure with Terraform, run Kubernetes clusters (EKS/ECS), and manage containerized apps with Docker and Helm.

You’ll develop CI/CD pipelines and GitOps with Git and Argo CD, enforce SSO/IAM/RBAC, and apply Zero Trust and defense-in-depth principles to secure the software

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Experience with ECS, Docker, and Helm.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Git, Argo CD, and Git Ops.
• Hands-on experience with SSO, IAM, Kubernetes RBAC, and access control.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust and cloud security principles.
• Strong AWS networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with microservice and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong automation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Support monitoring, logging, observability, and infrastructure reliability.
• Apply security standards and best practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
