Job summary

IT Labs in Europe seeks an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to help banks and insurers modernize operations using AI, automation, and cloud-native tech. You will design secure CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC, and collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and resilience across cloud environments.

The role requires 5–10 years in DevOps/DevSecOps, strong AWS and Kubernetes experience, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in DevOps/DevSecOps/platform engineering.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and security controls.
• Designing automated CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
• IaC expertise with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with security scanning, compliance controls, and secure software delivery practices.
• Excellent English communication; EU location required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines tailored for AI applications and enterprise delivery environments
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation across cloud platforms
• Embed automated security scanning, vulnerability detection, and compliance guardrails directly into the software delivery lifecycle
• Manage containerization strategies, orchestration environments, and Kubernetes clusters, including EKS and AKS
• Administer cloud infrastructure permissions, identity access controls, and secure networking configurations across environments
• Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure high availability, operational visibility, and platform uptime
• Collaborate with enterprise IT and security teams to support penetration testing, incident readiness, and secure network boundaries
• Support secure and scalable deployment of AI services, cloud-hosted applications, and containerized workloads in production environments

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in DevOps , DevSecOps , platform engineering , or cloud infrastructure engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, security controls, networking, and container platforms
• Experience designing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines for complex cloud-native applications
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code , especially with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and orchestration of containerized workloads in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with security scanning tools, vulnerability management, compliance controls, and secure software delivery practices
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability practices for production systemsHands-on experience with Git , CI/CD tooling , and infrastructure automation workflows
• Prior engagement in large-scale enterprise environments and mission-critical systems
• Candidate must be located in an EU member country
• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• Experience in fintech or financial services
• Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks, penetration testing coordination, and regulated environments
