Momentus is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to operate and evolve the cloud infra for engineering teams, spanning AWS, Kubernetes, and CI. The role includes building a new GovCloud org as code, securing the software supply chain, and enabling AI tooling while maintaining a healthy current environment.
The position emphasizes translating security requirements into automated controls, working with security and compliance, and supporting a small team with broad scope.
As an early mover in the in-space transportation and infrastructure services, Momentus is at the forefront of the commercialization of space. With an experienced team of aerospace, propulsion, and robotics engineers, Momentus has developed a cost-effective and energy-efficient in-space transport system.
Daring problems require daring solutions. We boldly charge into uncharted territory knowing that no matter the outcome we will benefit from the journey and move closer to our goals no matter what. Our teams know that working at Momentus means more than building innovative technology, it means creating entirely new markets in the space economy. We are level-headed, business-minded strategic thinkers intent on providing immediate value to our customers today while simultaneously preparing for the vast possibilities of the future. If this sounds like you, we should talk.
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to operate the cloud infrastructure our engineering teams depend on today and to build its successor from the ground up. The current environment spans AWS, Kubernetes, and CI. The next one is a new AWS GovCloud organization defined entirely as code, with the networking, identity, and software supply chain that a regulated engineering organization needs.
You will keep the existing environment healthy while the new one takes shape, then move workloads into it. You will also run the tooling that gives our engineers governed access to AI models and coding agents. This is a building role on a small team, and the scope is broad by design. You will not maintain a compliance binder; you will turn security requirements into code that produces its own evidence.
Preference for this role to be onsite but will consider hybrid and remote candidates.
