Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions, LLC seeks a DevSecOps Subject Matter Expert to architect, lead, and optimize CI/CD tooling, security paradigms, and observability across the software development lifecycle.

You will drive shift-left security, zero-trust architectures, and high-reliability platform engineering, guiding cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments from Chantilly/Herndon, VA. Target salary range $185,000–$240,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph (US Citizen).
• 15+ years of total technical experience, with 7+ years building and securing automated CI/CD pipelines.
• 7+ years hands-on automation using Terraform, Ansible, and related tooling.
• Expert-level proficiency with Git, GitLab, Jira, and source control ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of containers, Linux administration, kernel concepts, and networking basics.
• Excellent communication and leadership for executive/technical stakeholders.
• Deep security discipline aligned with DoD/IC standards.
• CKS/CKA, CISSP and/or GIAC DevSecOps Automation are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain, and optimize mission-critical CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and automation engines.
• Lead integration of SAST/DAST and dependency scanning to support automated governance and cATO.
• Design automated testing architectures covering unit, integration, and UAT.
• Lead remediation of vulnerabilities across applications and infrastructure.
• Define compliance strategies aligned with federal security regulations and DoD guidelines.
• Drive DevSecOps roadmaps, evaluate tools, and mentor multi-disciplinary teams.
