North is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer, Remote (US) to bridge engineering and the developer community, creating technical content and engaging with developers across APIs and payments.

The role involves maintaining API specs, writing docs and tutorials, producing video content, and representing the company at conferences and events while advocating for customer needs. Strong communication and fintech experience are valued.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on development and API integration experience.
8+ years combining software engineering with developer relations or evangelist work.
Track record of public speaking or publishing technical content (blogs, tutorials, videos).
Strong oral and written communication skills for developer audiences.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering to update and maintain API specifications.
Produce developer-friendly documentation and tutorials for payment APIs.
Create video tutorials and sample code to demonstrate API usage.
Represent North at conferences, meetups, and events to engage developers.
Advocate for developer needs and feed insights to product teams, shaping roadmaps.
