Qdrant is hiring a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to lead developer engagement from San Francisco, blending hands-on engineering (about 40%) with public speaking, content creation, and community building (about 60%). You will transform Bay Area developer relationships into joint projects, talks, and workshops, while guiding the DevRel roadmap with internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering or DevRel, with proven public speaking and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, Developer Relations, or technical marketing, including at least 3 in DevRel.
• Proven ability to deliver technical talks, workshops, and community programs.
• Experience building applications and collaborations you can share.

Responsibilities

• Demos and applied research: build open-source demos like end-to-end retrieval pipelines and AI search tools.
• Technical content: write articles, record tutorials, and create practical guides.
