Job summary

Point One Navigation seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure, automation, and deployment systems that keep our real‑time RTK corrections services reliable at scale. You’ll work across cloud, on‑prem, and bare‑metal environments, shaping CI/CD pipelines, security, and observability to support hundreds of thousands of devices in the field.

This is an ownership‑driven role focused on reproducible environments, fast and safe deployments, and resilient systems that perform under load

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience provisioning and operating production infrastructure.
• Ability to decompose high-level goals into actionable tasks with milestones.
• Hands-on with AWS cloud.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform).
• Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in production.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Comfort with scripting to automate tasks; solid networking and Linux fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own Infrastructure as Code across cloud, on‑premise, and bare‑metal environments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe deployments.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes across environments.
• Build and maintain observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana) and ensure issue resolution before customers notice.
• Design for high availability, graceful degradation, and recovery in multi‑environment setups.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and lead incident response with durable fixes.
• Develop self‑service tooling and clear processes to unblock engineers and reduce friction.
