Job summary
Synapticure is seeking a hands-on Cloud Security Engineer to fortify cloud security controls, governance, and reliability across AWS, Kubernetes, IAM, and networking. You will develop Terraform modules, secure CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripts while collaborating with Engineering and Data teams.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in cloud security or DevOps, with experience in healthcare or regulated environments preferred; on-call duties are expected.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in cloud security, DevOps, or related field.
- Experience with SentinelOne, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash; API integrations a plus.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments preferred; on-call expected.
Responsibilities
- Implement security controls for HIPAA, SOC 2, and related standards.
- Manage AWS, Kubernetes, IAM, and networking security.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Create automation scripts and perform vulnerability scanning and incident response.
- Hardening of infrastructure and ongoing compliance activities.
