Job summary

Survata is seeking a DevOps Security Contractor for part-time work (10-20 hrs/month) to provide expert guidance on security best practices for our infrastructure and systems. Ideal candidates will have over 15 years of experience in DevOps and Security Engineering, including strong AWS expertise.

This role will involve reviewing our existing infrastructure, conducting security audits, and supporting incident responses, requiring independent operation and communication to translate risks into practical actions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Security Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS platform.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure security, IAM, CI/CD security, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing DevOps and security guidance to engineering and leadership.
• Review current infrastructure and recommend improvements.
• Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments.
• Advise on best practices across cloud security and data protection.
• Support incident response for security-related events.
