Job summary
Akina Inc in Annapolis Junction, Maryland is seeking a Software Engineer focused on DevOps, platform engineering, and infrastructure automation for mission-critical AI/ML delivery. Collaboration with data scientists and system admins is key as you own the platform layer that enables rapid, resilient AI deployments.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of SWE experience in similar scope and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with on-prem infrastructure and platform engineering.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage containerized AI/ML services on-premises using Kubernetes.
- Implement observability and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC for automated deployment.
- Design resilient, highly available infrastructure patterns for mission systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and system admins to meet reliability requirements.
