Job summary

State Farm in the United States seeks a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to establish and lead engineering enablement for the Contact Center ecosystem. This role will create developer platforms, golden paths, reusable CI/CD capabilities, and IaC modules.

You will collaborate with SRE, product engineers, and other tech teams to drive observability, security controls, and AI/GenAI tooling across AWS, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows. Hybrid work model with Dunwoody, GA hub.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on AWS experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or software delivery automation.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), and AWS cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, branching and pull‑request workflows, reusable workflows, automated testing and release automation
• Experience supporting application delivery across Java, Node.js, React, and/or data workloads.
• Experience with observability, reliability, DevSecOps, IAM, secrets management, and automated security controls.
• Experience enabling AI/GenAI workloads, including delivery automation, evaluation, guardrails, observability, and operational monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Central Platform Engineering capabilities that accelerate software delivery across product teams.
• Build developer platforms and golden paths providing reusable, self‑service capabilities for React, Node.js, Java, Data/Analytics and GenAI workloads.
