Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to advance our DevOps practice, enabling secure, reliable software delivery across the organization. You’ll partner with software, infrastructure, security and business stakeholders to automate processes, improve platform reliability, and accelerate delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
• Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes and Change Request management.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ITGC, HIPAA, and HITRUST controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related automation tools.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
• Partner with development teams to improve software delivery, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Implement and promote DevOps, DevSecOps, and platform engineering best practices.
• Support change management processes and ensure governance compliance.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to support SOC 2, ITGC, HIPAA, and HITRUST controls.
• Improve monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Research emerging technologies and drive automation initiatives.
