Job summary

Agadia, based in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain scalable infrastructure. You will streamline deployments and collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in DevOps.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with IIS configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and similar.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet (PowerShell DSC preferred).
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of Git and Git workflows.
• Proven ability to effectively manage code merges and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Git for version control, branching, and collaboration workflows.
• Manage code merges, resolve conflicts, and ensure code quality.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with industry-standard tools.
• Design and manage Windows-based infrastructure, including Windows Servers and IIS.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize reliability.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to meet application requirements.
• Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployments.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support production environments.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and tools.
