Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a DevOps Engineer 4 to deliver a reliable platform orchestrating microservices in an on-site SCIF environment. You will automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD, and operate AWS cloud services. Strong security clearances and LINUX expertise are required.

The role emphasizes on-site work, rigorous compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime and performance in a modern operational system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• 12+ years of professional experience or 10+ years with a related Master's.
• Security+ CE certification.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scripting.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks and provision services.
• Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems.
• Install and tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Manage AWS environments and Terraform-based infrastructure.
