Job summary

Parsons is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Federal Solutions team. You will develop automation for deploying our analytic tools across production environments and help design scalable, secure pipelines.

The role involves reviewing architecture, selecting build and support tools, and collaborating with customers on rapid delivery. You will work in a dynamic, high‑consequence setting requiring TS/SCI readiness and a strong emphasis on security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience; or master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes constructs (Helm, Flux, GitOps).
• Experience with Linux Development Environments (RHEL, Rocky, Ubuntu).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Containerd).
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy).
• Experience with deployment automation (Ansible, Packer, Cloud-init).
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent).
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare, Proxmox, or equivalent).
• Experience with source code repository tools (Git or equivalent).
• Experience in applying server configuration hardening.
• Experience with Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation for deployment to multiple production environments.
• Review system architecture and select appropriate build and support tools.
• Contribute to quick reaction development with customer interaction.
• Work in a fast-paced federal solutions team to deliver secure software.
