Job summary

FTI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Colorado Springs. The role focuses on automating cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and improving security reporting across environments. You will work with Python, Ansible, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes to support DoD and Federal programs.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in DevOps, leadership experience, and strong Red Hat administration. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required."

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• 6+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Leadership experience with team coordination or mentorship.
• Hands-on automation development using Ansible.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and automation.
• Git-based source repositories and CI/CD workflows, GitLab preferred.
• AWS experience; GovCloud helpful.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Identify automation improvement opportunities and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation using Python & Ansible with networking concepts.
• Oversee full software lifecycle from development to deployment.
• Develop automation services for CI/CD and security reporting; use Ansible and Red Hat platforms.
• Integrate with internal back-end infrastructure and monitor security issues in dev environments.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures; ensure secure, compliant builds.
• Maintain container standards and enforce best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve security scanning findings (GitLab).
