Job summary
Unisity, LLC in Maryland is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to design and operate a reliable platform that orchestrates microservices within a modern, secure environment. Responsibilities include architecting AWS infrastructure, writing IaC with Terraform, building CI/CD with GitLab and Argo CD, and optimizing Kubernetes deployments (EKS/ECS/Fargate).
An active TS/SCI clearance is required and most work occurs on-site in a SCIF.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
- 12+ years of professional experience or 10+ with a related Master's.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; work in SCIF.
- Ability to support an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Architect infrastructure leveraging AWS technologies and services.
- Develop Infrastructure As Code (IaC) and scripting to automate tasks.
- Manage containerization with Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker, Docker Compose.
- Perform systems analysis, design, integration, and resolutions.
- Evaluate and drive cloud cost savings and optimization.
- Decompose sprint work and generate tickets to align with priorities.
- Manage team tasking and sprint workloads in an orchestrated manner.
- Drive CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners and Argo CD.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team and stakeholders.
