Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for our Space team in Costa Mesa, CA. You will operate, harden, and evolve classified Linux infrastructure, ensuring STIG compliance and end-to-end observability.

You will stand up infrastructure as code with Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform, manage Kubernetes workloads at scale in air-gapped environments, and provide rapid incident response for Space Domain Awareness data for the US Space Force.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance (preferred TS/SCI)
• 5+ years Kubernetes in production environments
• Expert Linux proficiency with deep OS knowledge
• Proven STIG compliance and system hardening experience
• Experience in air-gapped/classified environments
• IaC tooling with Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
• Bash and Python scripting for automation
• Observability tooling exposure (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to provide 24x7 on-call support

Responsibilities

• Stand up, harden, and maintain classified Linux-based infrastructure across globally distributed sites
• Enforce STIG compliance and system hardening standards across all environments
• Build, maintain, and evolve infrastructure as code with Ansible/Puppet/Terraform
• Write and maintain operational tooling and automation scripts in Bash and Python
• Maintain comprehensive observability across the stack using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenSearch
• Manage containerized workloads in Kubernetes at scale in production, including air-gapped setups
• Provide rapid incident response and root-cause analysis for DoD systems
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Mission Ops, and TPMs to validate deployments
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for Space Domain Awareness mission
• Drive continuous improvement and automation with minimal supervision
