Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah seeks a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer to automate provisioning and management across VMware and Linux/Windows environments. You will build IaC, automate patching, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for scalable infrastructure.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, strong scripting, and experience with VMware vSphere, Horizon, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL. Eligible relocation assistance is provided.

Qualificações

• 8 years with a Bachelor's in related field, or 6 years with a Master's.
• US Citizenship with Active or Interim DoD Secret clearance (recent reinvestigation).
• Ability to obtain SAP access within 6 months.
• 4 years experience with Windows and Linux (RHEL).
• 2 years with Jira/Confluence in an Agile environment.
• IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Develop scripts for provisioning, storage, automation and backup integration.
• Build and maintain patching, compliance, and reporting frameworks.
• Administer RHEL and Windows Server environments including deployment and hardening.
• Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure including ESXi, clusters, and virtual networking/storage.
• Provision and manage VDI via Horizon including golden image creation and pool config.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitor infrastructure performance.
