Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Software Developer with strong DevOps capabilities to support the development and deployment of mission-critical applications for the Intelligence Community. This role offers collaboration with a senior engineering team to modernize secure, highly available systems used across distributed environments.

Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes; building CI/CD pipelines; ETL workflow optimization; and secure

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
• 2+ years of professional experience developing, deploying, and supporting production software.
• Strong experience in Linux/Unix environments (Rocky Linux/RHEL preferred).
• Proficiency with Python; Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within a senior engineering team to modernize cloud-based environments supporting critical missions.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows for large-scale data processing.
• Configure and support messaging and queuing platforms (RabbitMQ or similar).
• Develop Python-based automation for infrastructure management and deployments.
• Monitor performance and improve stability and scalability across environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers on development and deployment practices.
