Softeta seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer for a client in the energy sector. You will automate Linux provisioning, manage bare-metal and Kubernetes clusters, and implement GitOps with Argo CD. You’ll build CI/CD pipelines, containerize apps, and ensure security and reliability across environments.

The role offers flexible hours and a hybrid/remote setup, with hands-on work on modern infrastructure stacks and IoT device integration inside a robust DevOps culture.

Formación

• Hands-on Linux administration and bare-metal provisioning experience.
• Experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure.
• Proficient with GitOps, Argo CD and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Helm charts.
• Familiar with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana) and RBAC/secrets management.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault or equivalent secrets management.
• Knowledge of PKI, TLS/mTLS and certificate lifecycle.
• Experience with cloud providers (Azure/AWS) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Automate Linux installation, config, patching on bare metal with Ansible, Kickstart, etc.
• Provision servers, configure BIOS, OS deployment, and deploy Kubernetes clusters with versioned workflows.
• Install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters on bare metal.
• Manage multiple clusters with standardized configurations and automated rollouts.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitOps and Argo CD.
• Containerize apps with Docker and maintain Helm charts for deployments.
• Implement monitoring/logging with Prometheus and Grafana via GitOps.
• Configure networking, security (RBAC, least privilege) and secrets management.
• Manage PKI, TLS/mTLS, certificate lifecycles; integrate identity providers (OIDC/SAML, SSO, MFA).
• Integrate Vault/External Secrets Operator for credentials management and auditing.
• IoT platform integration with Bosch devices and Kubernetes-enabled devices where applicable.
• Collaborate in an Agile/SCRUM environment; continuously improve automation and reliability.
