Job summary

EMPLOYERS is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for 100% remote work in the United States. You will design, automate, and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD systems across AWS, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and GitOps pipelines.

Responsibilities include building IaC with Terraform, managing Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines, and ensuring reliable observability with OpenTelemetry and Prometheus. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–11 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infra roles.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift in production, including RBAC and upgrades.
• Strong AWS infra experience (VPC, IAM, S3, Route 53, PrivateLink, RDS) with IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Own and improve Jenkins pipelines end-to-end.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows and ArgoCD GitOps workflows.
• Instrument and manage Observability stack (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor juniors.
