Job summary

Centric Consulting seeks an experienced DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This remote role requires hands-on expertise with Bitbucket, Ansible, and IaC tooling, plus strong collaboration with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.

You will monitor systems, enforce security and compliance, mentor junior engineers, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Bitbucket and Ansible.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in enterprise or highly regulated environments.
• Azure and/or AWS certifications.
• Experience implementing security and compliance controls within DevOps workflows.
• Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineering teams.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, observability, and reliability engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Administer and optimize configuration management and automation solutions, with deep expertise in Ansible and Bitbucket.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Implement security, compliance, and vulnerability management practices across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiency and delivery speed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps best practices throughout the organization.
