Job summary

Exacta Systems is seeking a highly motivated Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our Austin-based engineering team. This role bridges development and operations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of our central determinant gaming systems in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

You will collaborate with software, QA, and IT to streamline deployments, improve observability, and maintain secure, resilient infrastructure powering real-time gaming experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Senior level experience with web technologies and programming web-based user interfaces (C#, Node.js, AngularJS, HTML, CSS).

Responsibilities

• Collaboration within the DevOps Team to develop tools and administer our products.
• Develop and enhance build processes and tools.
• Provide second-to-third-tier customer support, assisting the operations team with engineering-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal and third-party development partners.
• Configure and deploy modern observability tools for system performance, availability, and security monitoring.
• Support database deployment processes and environment consistency across development, staging, and production
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and system architecture
• Partner with QA and developers to support test environment stability and reliability
