Senior Engineer

Lead team initiatives and provide guidance to engineers. Act as a mentor to less experienced team members, providing technical guidance and support. Additionally, take on a leadership role in cross‑functional teams and provide strategic direction for complex projects. Lead medium to large‑scale IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and manage project timelines. Additionally, oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Participate in strategic planning for IT infrastructure, including capacity planning and technology roadmaps. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve infrastructure performance and efficiency. Additionally, contribute to the development of long‑term IT strategies and initiatives.

Design and implement enterprise‑class datacenter infrastructure. Plan and deploy virtualization solutions using private, public, and hybrid cloud technologies. Additionally, lead the design and implementation of complex, large‑scale infrastructure projects. Plan and implement proactive management and monitoring solutions using enterprise‑class tools. Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of critical systems through advanced monitoring techniques. Additionally, develop and implement advanced monitoring and management strategies.

Provide third‑level technical support for complex infrastructure issues. Serve as an escalation point for resolving high‑impact infrastructure challenges. Additionally, develop and implement advanced troubleshooting procedures and best practices. Helps implement optimal cloud resources for executing workloads and optimizing cloud spend. Participates in projects to establish and evolve DevOps practices, tools, and processes. Provide on‑call support as required to ensure timely resolution of critical after‑hours issues. Perform other duties as assigned.

Career Level (P3). Organizational Impact: Works to achieve day‑to‑day objectives with significant impact on operational results within area of work. Works independently under limited supervision. May be responsible for entire projects or processes within area. Typically, responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower‑level professionals. Leadership & Talent Management: May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within functional area. May manage projects at this level, requiring responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others’ work product.

Knowledge & Experience: Requires broad knowledge of area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of program or project management. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 4‑6 years of prior relevant experience.

Required Skills
  • Knowledge of DevOps and automation practices, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Experience using monitoring and analytics tools to support automation performance monitoring, operational insights, and issue identification.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, API development, system integration, SDLC, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance business objectives with technical solutions to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem‑solving capabilities, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge of information security best practices, including secure credential and secrets management.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, including Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, and attended/unattended automation.
  • Experience integrating Power Automate with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure services, SQL Server, REST APIs, and other enterprise applications to streamline business processes.
  • Strong understanding of workflow automation, process orchestration, exception handling, automation monitoring, governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and transforming manual business, operational, deployment, and support processes into scalable automated workflows that improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Experience implementing automation governance, security, compliance controls, and best practices within enterprise Power Platform environments.
  • Supporting Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, Helm, monitoring tools, operating systems, networking, databases, storage, and Microsoft server technologies to support automation and integration initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AIOps, AI agents, telemetry, AI guardrails, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, and Power Automate AI capabilities to enhance automation solutions.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mortgage Compliance policies is a plus.

Physical Requirements: May require travel.

Pay Range: $123,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually depending on skills and experience.
