Job Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Nityo, you will take full operational ownership of cloud infrastructure reliability, deployment automation, and container orchestration across high-traffic production environments in San Jose. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing AWS core services (EC2, EKS, ECS, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS), administering Kubernetes clusters, writing modular Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuring automated CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. You will troubleshoot Linux OS performance bottlenecks, implement DevSecOps security best practices, and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies. Furthermore, you will collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline software delivery, optimize cloud costs, and participate in an on-call support rotation.
