Detailed Job Description

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include architecting, provisioning, and maintaining secure cloud environments and compute clusters on Amazon Web Services, building, optimizing, and troubleshooting automated CI/CD deployment pipelines for Java-based microservices and enterprise applications, authoring and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting automation in Python and Bash, administering enterprise Linux operating systems and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), collaborating closely with software engineering, QA, and security squads in Agile sprint cycles, conducting rigorous root cause analysis (RCA), performance profiling, and rapid incident remediation for production bottlenecks, preparing comprehensive technical documentation of deployment runbooks, system topologies, and operational procedures, and managing application requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, secure, and scale robust production infrastructure and cloud workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Build, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot automated CI/CD deployment pipelines for Java-based microservices and enterprise applications.
• Author, test, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and configuration management scripts utilizing Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Administer, configure, and optimize enterprise Linux operating systems, container platforms (Docker), and Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop robust automation scripts and tooling utilizing Python, Bash, and REST APIs to streamline operational workflows.
• Monitor cloud resource utilization, database query performance, and application log aggregation proactively.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross‑functional software engineering, QA validation, and security squads.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 to 10+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering, DevOps engineering, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong, demonstrable hands‑on professional expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) administration and cloud service configuration.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and practical proficiency in Java programming, Spring Boot, and enterprise application deployment.
• Deep practical experience in CI/CD pipeline automation, version control workflows, and build management tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid practical experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Linux system administration.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem‑solving capabilities under high‑pressure conditions.
