Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Senior Engineer, DevOps to join the Live & Collect Infrastructure team in Los Angeles. You will design, build, and operate the cloud foundation powering Fanatics' Live & Collect platforms across AWS and GCP. This hands-on role focuses on scalable infra, AI/ML tooling, and mentoring other engineers.

You will own core cloud services, manage databases, and foster DevOps maturity across the org while contributing to reliability and cost-efficiency in multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud engineering at scale with AWS and GCP.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Hands-on database administration with Cloud Spanner, RDS, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Own core cloud platform services including Kubernetes, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate AI/ML tooling to improve infra automation, monitoring, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to support high-traffic Live & Collect systems.
• Mentor engineers on cloud architecture, automation, and operational excellence.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive incidents to resolution.
