Job summary

Digital Surgery Systems Inc. seeks a Senior Software DevOps Engineer to lead the design and development of DevOps pipelines for Linux-based medical device software. This hands-on role integrates TDS development and operations tasks to automate infrastructure, workflows, measure performance, and assist with the software release process.

This role requires strong communication, collaboration with internal/external teams, and the ability to work independently in an onsite Goleta, CA environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a 3 years and a PhD; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Linux, CMake and/or Yocto as part of devops workflows.
• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD deployment tools and cloud-based build infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop DevOps pipelines for Linux-based medical device software.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automate software release processes.
• Document pipelines, artifacts, and software bills of materials.
• Develop software quality dashboards and monitor build and release metrics.
• Troubleshoot DevOps issues and identify root causes across hardware and software.
