Job summary

Zeely AI is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our multi-cloud infrastructure, spanning AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, and Hetzner. You will design resilient systems, establish standards, and convert complex ops challenges into reliable solutions across AI workloads and analytics pipelines.

You will collaborate with DevOps, architecture, and engineering teams to improve CI/CD, deployment reliability, and on-call incident response while driving FinOps and cloud efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on commercial DevOps experience.
• 5+ years of AWS experience with EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, OpenSearch.
• Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting (preferably EKS).
• Advanced Terraform with reusable modules and multi-provider infra.
• Hands-on GCP experience, incl. BigQuery and data pipelines.
• Strong Linux, networking and security fundamentals.
• Experience owning production infra, observability, and incident response.
• Ability to decide technical trade-offs and drive implementation.
• Upper-Intermediate English / B2+; fluent Ukrainian; CET/EET hours.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, OpenSearch).
• Manage and scale GCP environments supporting AI data pipelines and analytics.
• Maintain multi-cloud infra across Cloudflare and Hetzner networking and traffic routing.
• Develop and maintain Terraform IaC with reusable modules and standards.
• Operate Kubernetes production environments with reliability and deployment stability.
• Improve observability, metrics, logs, traces, and APM across systems.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting to reduce noise and aid incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve CI/CD, releases, and developer experience.
• Contribute to multi-cloud strategy and cloud cost optimization.
• Participate in on-call rotations (L2) and drive lasting improvements.

We're looking for a senior infrastructure engineer who can design resilient systems, define infrastructure standards, and turn complex operational challenges into reliable, maintainable solutions. Your Key Responsibilities:

• Own and improve AWS infrastructure, including EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, OpenSearch, and related services, balancing reliability, scalability, performance, and cost.
• Manage and scale GCP environments supporting AI services, data pipelines, and analytics workloads, including BigQuery.
• Maintain supporting infrastructure across Cloudflare and Hetzner, including networking, edge services, and production traffic routing.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, building reusable modules and consistent practices across cloud providers.
• Operate and improve Kubernetes production environments, including availability, autoscaling, troubleshooting, and deployment stability.
• Strengthen observability across metrics, logs, traces, and APM, improving visibility into application and infrastructure performance.
• Improve monitoring and alerting to reduce noise, surface actionable issues, and support effective incident response.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, release reliability, and developer experience.
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture and our multi-cloud strategy, with a primary focus on AWS and GCP.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations (L2), investigate critical infrastructure incidents, and turn findings into lasting improvements.

What You Need to Join Us:

• 6+ years of hands-on commercial DevOps experience.
• 5+ years of practical AWS experience, including EKS, EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, OpenSearch, and related infrastructure components.
• Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting skills, preferably with EKS.
• Advanced Terraform experience, including reusable modules, state management, and multi-provider infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, ideally including BigQuery, Compute Engine, or infrastructure supporting data pipelines.
• Strong Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Experience taking ownership of production infrastructure, observability, alerting, and incident response.
• The ability to make technical decisions, explain trade-offs, and drive improvements through to implementation.
• Upper-Intermediate English / B2 or higher, including communication with external providers and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent Ukrainian for day-to-day team communication.
• Availability to collaborate during CET/EET working hours.

• Experience with Cloudflare, including R2, caching, or edge services.
• Experience with Hetzner infrastructure.
