Job summary

LILT is seeking a world-class DevOps engineer to build reliable software systems across multi-region deployments in Washington, DC, with a mix of remote and on-site customer engagements. The role focuses on optimizing Linux-based infrastructure, cloud deployments in GCP/AWS, and improving SLIs/SLOs for high production availability.

You will collaborate with a talented engineering team, implement IaC with Terraform, and advance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Linux System Administrator, DevOps, or similar.
• Solid Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Scripting ability in Python or Bash.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform or similar.
• Experience with GCP services and data analytics.
• Proven monitoring, alerting, and high availability skills.
• CI/CD concepts and GitHub Actions familiarity.
• U.S. citizenship required for employment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support technical operations in development and production systems.
• Deliver infrastructure projects aligned with company initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D to deliver fast, reliable software.
• Secure platform infrastructure and harden on-prem builds.
• Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs for SLAs with engineering teams.
• Sprint-based roadmap execution following SCRUM practices.
• Adopt new technologies in InfoSec, DevOps, and Site Reliability.
• Provide on-site support for self-managed customers.
