The role focuses on owning and evolving AWS infrastructure, implementing IaC, securing environments, and driving observability. You will mentor engineers and apply AI tools to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure at scale.
• Proficient with IaC using Terraform/Ansible; migration to EKS/containers.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions); Jenkins migration.
• Implement security baselines: least-privilege IAM, secrets rotation, no root containers.
• Operational excellence: monitoring with Grafana/OpenTelemetry, Sentry, on-call.
• Backup strategies and AWS cost optimization. Mentor engineers.

Job description

• Manage IaC with Terraform and Ansible; move workloads to EKS.

CI/CD & Security:

• Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines; migrate Jenkins jobs.
• Enforce security baselines: Cloudflare WAF, SSM access, least-privilege IAM, secrets rotation, no root containers.

Observability & Operations:

• Run monitoring with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Sentry; handle on-call and incident response.
• Own backups, restore tests, and AWS cost optimization.
• Work with internal teams and contractors, set standards, and mentor engineers.
• Apply modern AI tools daily and proactively audit environments for risks.
