Job summary

Credit Genie is seeking a Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to own reliability, deployments, observability, and incident response across our AWS and Kubernetes environment. You will collaborate with backend, data, ML, and AI teams to design scalable, secure infrastructure and drive production readiness.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll manage Terraform/OpenTofu, leverage AWS CDK (TypeScript) where appropriate, and push CI/CD improvements while advancing SOC 2 and PCI‑DSS compliance in production.

Qualifications

• DevOps/SRE depth with backend software understanding.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience and production observability.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in multiple environments.
• Terraform or similar IaC tooling expertise.
• Experience at an early-stage startup or scaling infra under pressure.
• Willingness to own SOC 2/PCI-DSS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, deployments, observability, and incident response in AWS/Kubernetes.
• Improve AWS footprint and CI/CD pipelines for multiple services.
• Manage IaC stack (Terraform/OpenTofu); AWS CDK experience is a plus.
• Lead compliance work (SOC 2/PCI-DSS) with security partners.
