Motion Recruitment seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer in Salt Lake City to own and optimize enterprise AWS infrastructure with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD tools. This hybrid role emphasizes ownership of cloud platforms across multiple business units, driving automation and platform engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in DevOps/Cloud roles, strong AWS and container experience, and a penchant for shaping architecture and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Strong AWS experience.
• Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Terraform.
• Docker.
• Linux Administration.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
• Python or Bash scripting.
• Experience supporting production cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure end-to-end.
• Manage Kubernetes cluster and containerization.
• Build and maintain Terraform IaC.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams and mentor junior engineers.
