Job summary

W3Global in Winchester, VA, seeks a DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and Linux systems in a federal environment. The role focuses on deploying and configuring cloud services, managing Linux servers, and supporting dynamic web applications in a secure setting.

Responsibilities include deploying IaS across AWS/Azure/GCE/OpenStack, configuring Linux servers, troubleshooting distributed clusters, and monitoring infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or systems administration experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as a Service environments.
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCE, or OpenStack.
• Strong Linux server administration experience.
• Experience supporting web application infrastructure.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed or cluster-based computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure services using Infrastructure as a Service cloud platforms.
• Support cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCE, or OpenStack.
• Configure, administer, and maintain Linux-based servers.
• Support infrastructure used to host dynamic web applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug cluster-based computing environments.
• Monitor cloud and server environments and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing operation of cloud-based services.
• Work within a secure federal technology environment.
